Thanksgiving was at our house. It was a beautiful day! We fried a turkey – YUM!
There were only 6 of us, but we could have fed an army!
After lunch we rested and then headed to Lenox Square for the lighting of the Macy’s Great Tree
In our annual tradition, we decorated the Christmas Tree on Thanksgiving weekend.
Riley, again, dressed herself – thus the summer dress on a winter Saturday morning.
This was Riley’s year to put the star on top of the tree
New this year, was the Night of Lights at the Botanical Gardens. It was truly spectacular (and cold!)

One of the (very) few days Riley let me put anything in her hair
Visit with Santa – After a slight hesitation, Ryan walked right up, but Riley was definitely not so sure. In the end Riley took the plunge so she could share her wish list with Santa!
After I wrote out Ryan’s list, he insisted that he write his own. Quite impressive!
Christmas Eve – we started the day at our church and then we had our usual Chinese food dinner. After dinner we went to a service at Mee Maw’s church and then back to her house for presents and dessert!
It wouldn’t be a photo-op without silly faces!
This year Grandma Hutchinson wasn’t able to be in Atlanta like she has been for the last 5 years. Uncle Scott went to Rochester to be with her and it just wasn’t the same without them here.
