Back on Track!

We are finally feeling better!!! No more sickness...for now. Riley & Ryan are offically 8 months old! What a fun weekend celebrating many things. On Saturday we started our day with our usual class at Play 2 Grow. Then we went to breakfast and came home for a quick dip in the pool before heading to their first wedding. They loved the pool - hadn't been in about 2 months, so we were glad they still liked it. I dunked Riley completely under the water and she didn't even cry. I think we'll have a great summer in the pool this summer - trying to stay cool. After the pool we headed to Flowery Branch to celebrate Tara Perry's wedding. I went in to the ceremony while Kevin kept sleeping babies in the car. Then they joined me at the reception. It was such a beautiful ceremony and reception. Riley and Ryan behaved perfectly and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing old friends from my church in high school. Many of the people there I had not seen in 15 years. It was a great reunion.

Today after church we ventured up to Cumming, GA to visit our friends Richard and Emily that have 11 month old twin boys. We labeled the day "Twin-Palooza". The Mortons were very generous hosts. We had a great lunch and they shared some biter biscuits with Riley & Ryan. You'll have to check out the pictures in the link below. They wore most of the biscuits - not sure how much went into their mouths, but they loved them! Will and Charlie are a little further along and they ate bits of lunch meat, watermelon and cheese! They all played so well together and it was neat to see what we are in store for in the next few months. Will and Charlie are both on the move and moving FAST! Riley and Ryan were both asleep before we left their neighborhood and continued their naps once we got home. Ryan slept for 2 hours and we woke Riley up after 2 1/2 hours! They needed the rest after all their partying! Another great weekend under our belts...
