We have been super busy this weekend. We went to dinner with 2 of my best friends from high school and their husbands on Friday night. We had such a great time catching up with each other. We had a reservation at 7:30 and we panicked when we looked down and it was 10:30! We had no idea that 3 hours had passed. I don't think we took a breath the whole time. I guess that is really the definition of true friends. We hadn't seen in other in a while and we picked up right where we left off! I'm thankful it worked out to make that happen!
Yesterday was a day of technology ugliness. I think our computer is dying a slow death, so we are frantically trying to transfer all of our files to our backup drive before it's truly done. So - we are in the market for a new computer and are evaluating PC or Mac? It's quite a great debate - and price difference. I can't wait to see what we decide to do. I'm ready to be back and settled in our technology world. Speaking of technology...I get my new iPhone tomorrow! I have been waiting for 2 years and to say I'm excited is quite an understatement! Hopefully that will help lift my spirits as far as technology goes. Gran-daddy and I went to an old family friend's wedding on Saturday afternoon. It was fun to see all of our old friends and catch up. Dad and I had a nice time and he was a great date! I haven't had a date with anyone other than Kevin in over 10 years, so it was fun!
Today we went to church, had a meeting at church after the service, I went to a baby shower, we shopped for new computers and then headed to Alpharetta for dinner with some new friends from Open Arms. We had quite a busy day, but it was a delightful evening. The kids played great together and loved the HUGE backyard. Riley and Ryan each hit a ball off the tee and ran the bases! I guess the summary for this weekend is - thankfulness for friendships...new and old! Have a great week!

Just realized that I never blogged after last Friday. Below are the links to the pictures from Trick-or-Treating as well as our visit to the playground at Peachtree Dekalb Airport. It was truly a treat to see all of the planes taking off and landing. We will definitely be going back to this park!
