This weekend was filled with many fun events. It started with an evening out for mommy and daddy on Friday night. We were able to get tickets to see Cavalia. If you don't know about this, you should look into it and if you ever have the opportunity - you should not miss it! We both wish we knew more about horses after seeing this show, but we were still able to appreciate it even without an in dept knowledge of horses.
Saturday morning we had some great family time and then Grandaddy came over to watch the kiddos. He stayed with them all afternoon / evening while we went to Athens for the AU vs UGA game. We all had a fun filled and very tiring day. We tailgated with great friends and realized this was the first game Kevin has been to in 3 years and only my 2nd! My my, how times have changed. We used to go to several games each season. Unfortunately, my Auburn Tigers weren't able to pull off a win, but it was a great game and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole day! The kiddos played outside with Grandaddy for many hours. They ordered pizza and went down for bed without a sound. What a treat for all of us!
Today we made it to early church (after getting in at 12:30am) - and were actually early! We made a family trip to Walmart and then went out to eat at good ole La Parilla. It was a great early lunch. This afternoon we went to an event called Grand Day Out at Piedmont Park. This was put on by our friends that produced the children's music cd by The Baby Grands. They had a great tournout on a perfect day. The weather could not have been much better. Straight from there we went to Avery's 2nd birthday party at Kangazoom and jumped and went down the big slide for a solid hour. After pizza and cake it was time to go home and head straight to bed. Whew - what another wild weekend full of tons of fun!
