Christmas week began with a wonderful concert at The Fox Theater. Mee Maw and I went to see Amy Grant and Vince Gill and it was a magical night! After a wonderful dinner, we ventured downtown and were thoroughly entertained for almost 3 hours straight! What a treat!
When we got home, Mrs. H had arrived from Rochester and so the Christmas week began. On Tuesday afternoon, we took the kiddos to see Rudolph at The Center for Puppetry Arts. I had not been there since I was a child and it was neat to be back there. The puppet show was so wonderfully done, it almost seemed like we were watching a movie! After the show, we made Rudolph puppets. I’m not sure who was better with the glue…the kids or the adults!
After Rudolph, we headed to the airport to pick up Uncle Scott. We were able to have some time off from work and enjoyed the Hutchinsons visit. We went to see the movie, Tangled, and ate several wonderful meals!
The kiddos loved putting on a “jumping show” for us. Obviously, not the best parenting moves, but they sure did have a wonderful time!
Daddy and Uncle Scott made a tunnel that they all enjoyed climbing through.
And don’t forget tickle time with Daddy!
