The Hutchinson Family: January Catch Up

It’s been a while since I’ve posted. I’ve thought about it many times, but we’ve really not had a lot going on to post about. I have welcomed the lazy weekends! Here are some highlights of the last few weeks.

January 8th was Braylon’s birthday party. He’s a friend from school, so they were there with all their buddies. Lots of fun!

Auburn made it to the National Championship this year and I just had to be there! As soon as we learned they would be going, I bought my plane ticket to Phoenix and had a hotel room with some girlfriends from Auburn. I didn’t have a ticket to the game, but I just had to be there. Tickets were going for over $1,000 so I had pretty much decided there was no way I was getting into the game, but just being there with my friends would be enough fun for me. My co-workers all got together and bought me a ticket to the game for Christmas!!! It was one of the greatest gifts / surprises I’ve ever received! Truly generous and truly something that allowed the experience of a lifetime. See it for yourself here…
War Eagle!

The day I left for the game was the day the snow/ice storm of the decade hit Atlanta. Kevin AKA “Father / Husband of the Year” was snowed in from Sunday to Wednesday with the kids. He never left the house the whole time I was gone. This was definitely not the plan when I booked the trip, but obviously the weather was out of our control. Kevin was a real trooper and handled it all like a champ! Thanks babe for all you did while I was gone – as well as every day!
